Paul and Michelle: Why anyone would ever stay friends demands investigation. Too much has gone wrong to every think things could be rectified. This is a story of an incredibly strong friendship. Born On The Fourth Of July: A true story that chronicles the life of Ron Kovic. A volunteer in the army, Ron does a tour in Vietnam, where he suffers injuries that leave him paralyzed. After his disturbing treatment by the government, and harrowing experiences in VA hospitals, Ron becomes an anti war activist. He feels completely betrayed by the country that he fought for.
Natural Born Killers: Mary Mallory is a teenager with an abusive father. After falling in love with Mickey, they viscously murder Mary’s parents. Now they are on the run along Rt. 666. As they run, they go on killing sprees, usually leaving one person alive that can recount the events. As time continues they become a media sensation, almost national heroes.
Rampage: Pregnant Long Island housewife, unable to deal with married life escapes her husband and picks up a simple minded football player on the street. Cast includes Michael Biehn, AIex McArthur, Robert Duvall, Marya Zimmet, Tom Aldredge, and Laurie Crewes. (97 minutes, 1992)
Like Water for Chocolate: Striking and sensuous film from a novel by Laura Esquivel set in the early part of the 20th century: a youthful female’s life is conditioned by her serious and unyielding mom, who treats her terribly. Sumptuous story, not without humor, with a excellent cast and a top of the line performance from lead actress Cavazos. Cast includes Lumi Cavazos, Marco Leonardi, Regina Tome, Mario Ivan Martinez, and Ada Carrasco. (113 minutes, 1992)
Jack Be Nimble: Strange, smart little chiller in which the title personality is adopted into a family of bad people and he is neglected completely. So he sets out to find his long-lost sis, and then to seek revenge for his mistreatment. Cast includes Alexis Arquette, Sarah Smuts-Kennedy, Bruno Lawrence, Tony Barry, and Elizabeth Hawthorne. (93 minutes, 1993)
