Let The Party Begin! Nightmare Before Christmas Monopoly!

The world’s most popular board game meets a cult classic movie to create “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Monopoly Board Game.” Just released by USAopoly under license from Hasbro you will have all the fun of the original Monopoly with a totally haunting and ghoulish makeover, featuring colorful photography from Nightmare Before Christmas.

The ever so evil Scary Teddy has replaced puppy dog tokens. Do not bother with the thimble either because the Zombie Duck has taken its place. The are six scary collectible pewter tokens that come with this collector?s edition of the game.

Prepare for a gruesome adventure as you roll a four and Mr. Ooogie Boogie will be waiting to collect $200 for your gambling losses! Dodged that bullet did you? Then go and purchase some of Halloween Town such as ?Hanging Tree Hangout? or ?Undersea Gal?s Lake.?

The reading railroad is gone too. In its place is the entrance door to ?Christmas Town? or ?Easter Town.? The ?Go to Jail? is one thing that has not been altered in the game and if you land here, you will miss the chance to own one of the two blue squares which are called ?Jack?s Tower? or Sally?s Alley.?

All the properties are named after special locations in Halloweentown. Buy enough properties and you can start to take over the game, buy presents to put on your properties and eventually build assembly lines and become the Pumpkin King of Halloweentown.

Be mindful not to spend too much on property and presents because if you land on ?Christmas Present? or ?Halloween Present? squares you may be required to dish out money on repairs for a faulty microscope. Although new names are given to Community Chest and Chance, they still cost a lot of money.

If you are a Jack Skellington fan you will especially love the Jack money. Each denomination features one of Jack’s many evil faces.

Want everyone at your party to play, but think Monopoly takes too long to complete? Have a go at the 60-minute speed game! Up to six ghosts or goblins can play at one time. Include your ghoulish kids as long as they are at least eight years old.
