While still missing the mark at times, theyve managed to recreate the strong friendship that thrives between the three classmates as described in the book. Michael Gambon, Robbie Coltrane and Alan Rickman who play Albus Dumbledore, Hagrid and Professor Snape are brilliant as always with Snape getting more of a chance to show off his outstanding interpretation of the slightly confusing and mysterious persona of the fictitious character.
Outstanding cinematography as well as the amazing special effects employed help make this movie a pleasure to watch. Theres no doubt that many characters (such as the Dursleys and Winkie), and side plots are missing and this might be a point raised by Harry Potter fans but thats explained by the time constraints. But, at the end of the day, you dont have to be a die-hard Harry Potter fan to enjoy this film.
